Deutsch: Kurzgelenkwagen KT4D, Typ 34, am Hoftor des Museums-Bw. Nur acht Nullserienwagen kamen 1975 nach Leipzig. Eingesetzt wurden sie in der Regel als Doppeleinheiten auf der Linie 2, einzelnfahrend auf der 33 und als modernste Fahrzeuge der Stadt während der Messen auf den Messesonderlinien. Zur Typenvereinigung wurden die Wagen 1984 nach Berlin abgegeben. Zurückgeholt wurde der Wagen 1308 erst nach 2000, nachdem er von den Berliner Verkehrsbetrieben ausgemustet worden war. Nach mehreren Jahren Abstellzeit wegen Unwilligkeit der LVB wurde er im Zustand ab 1976 mit Fahrkartendruckentwertern betriebsfähig aufgearbeitet. Gegenüber der ersten und letzten Tür liegen auf der linken Seite Lufteinläufe. Möglicherweise sind sie der Grund, dass KT4 trotz eigentlich dafür gut geeignetem symmetrischem Wagenkasten nie zu echten Zweirichtungswagen umgebaut wurden. |
