Description
Deutsch: Ein Zug der Linie C14 nach Mittweida vor den Bahnsteigen. Der Unterschied der Bahnsteighöhen ist gut zu erkennen, die jeweils hintere Hälfte ist für den stufenlosen Einstieg in die »Citylink«-Wagen der Chemnitzbahn auf 380 mm über SO erhöht, die vordere hat passend zu den Variobahn­wagen nur 200, nach neuen Festlegungen 240 mm. Wegen des Lichtraumprofils ist die erhöhte Bahnsteigkante im 380-mm-Bereich nach hinten versetzt, die Spaltüberbrückung ist unverzichtbar.
Die Linie nach Mittweida wäre vollständig mit elektrischen Triebwagen zu bedienen, doch hat der VMS noch keine 15-kV-fähigen Wagen beschafft.
