Description
Deutsch: Richtung Osten, der provisorische Verbau ermöglicht den Aushub für den Weiterbau der neuen Brücke. Der geschweißte Überbau links trug das Güterringrichtungsgleis Mockau–Thekla, der genietete in Bildmitte das Bahnhofsgleis 2, bis 1946 Richtungsgleis Thekla–Leipzig Berl Bf der Strecke 6360. Etwa in der Achse des geschweißten Güterringüberbaues wird das neue Bahnsteiggleis 2 liegen, rechts daneben der Zugang zum Bahnsteig. Das Streckengleis Leipzig–Eilenburg bleibt vorerst in seiner Lage mit dem rechten Überbau in Betrieb, der neue Überbau für dieses Gleis wird wegen der nötigen Bahnsteigbreite südlich davon (ganz rechts außerhalb des Bildausschnittes) gebaut. Damit entfällt auch der lange Ausleger des Fahrleitungsmastes hinter der Brücke wieder.
Die beiden freigelegten Überbauten wurden am Folgetag ausgebaut.
