Description
Deutsch: Im Bahnhof Halle-Südstadt kreuzen die Züge der Linien S3 von und nach Nietleben und S7 von und nach Röblingen. Als problematisch erweist sich die nicht für den S-Bahn-Betrieb ausgelegte PZB 90. Durch den Kreuzungshalt erhalten alle Züge eine restriktive 500-Hz-Beeinflussung. Damit ist die Weiterfahrt nur mit 20 km/h möglich. Den Aufwand mit Geschwindigkeitsprüfeinrichtungen wie in Frankfurt (Main) wollte man nicht treiben und die Forderung nach Übewachung der Steuerkontakte macht auch das hier eigentlich sehr sinnvolle ETCS signalgeführt mit Aufwertebalisen auf Höhe der Hauptsignale unattraktiv teuer. ETCS Level 2 ist für solche Anwendungen deutlich zu aufwändig. Deshalb werden die Züge hier wohl noch lange schleichen.
Die Linie S7 wird wie nahezu alle Reisezüge auf der Strecke 6343 Halle–Hann. Münden von Abellio Rail bedient.
