JR大高駅ホームから笠寺駅方向を望む。
東海道本線（右側）の線路が左へ大きくカーブしているのが分かる。
これは、元来天白川に掛かっていた東海道本線用の橋梁が老朽化したため、
南方貨物線（未成線、左側の途切れている線路）用として架設された橋梁を東海道本線に転用したことによる。
