Description
English: This is a deep river valley carved by receeding ice age glaciers. This wilderness park is 50 kms. north of Quebec city, Canada. The large canoes at right can take 20 people each with two persons side by side and are replicas of original canoes used by the indigenous peoples of the area and later used by european esp. french explorers and the traders known as the "voyageurs".
