English: This cong was unearthed at Liangzhu, Hangzhou in 1986. Exhibited in Zhejiang Museum. Français : Détail d'un cong en trémolite (jade blanche) provenant de la tombe n°12 de Fanshan, Zhejiang. Culture de Liangzhu, v. 3000-2000 AEC. Musée Provincial du Zhejiang. Ce détail présente des parties en bas relief et des parties gravées, lesquelles sont tapissées de stries denses où le motif de la spirale domine. En léger bas relief la tête d'une créature (ou d'un danseur costumé) aux dents visibles, portant semble-t-il une coiffure de plumes, a le reste du corps simplement gravé. Elle a les bras écartés et repliés et les doigts tendus vers ce qui semble un "masque" en bas relief, et de grande taille par rapport à la "créature". Ses cuisses et ses jambes sont elles aussi écartées et repliées, et se termine par des griffes. Le "masque" a deux yeux globuleux reliés par une partie légèrement arquée, et à la même échelle, un nez épaté et une bouche où il semble impossible de discerner des dents dans le réseau dense des stries "décoratives". |
