Description
Polski: Jakub Przybył (1884-1939) – restaurator z Bydgoszczy. Został oskarżony, iż w czasie zajść tzw. bydgoskiej krwawej niedzieli wskazał dom, z którego strzelano do polskich żołnierzy. Wyrokiem niemieckiego sądu specjalnego w Bydgoszczy (niem. Sondergericht Bromberg) został skazany na śmierć i rozstrzelany 11 września 1939 na dziedzińcu bydgoskiego więzienia przy ul. Wały Jagiellońskie.
English: Jakub Przybył (1884-1939) – Polish restaurant owner from Bydgoszcz. He was accused of denouncing the ethnic Germans (volksdeutsche) during the events of so-called “Bloody Sunday in Bydgoszcz”. Jakub Przybył was sentenced to death by Nazi-German “Special court in Bydgoszcz” (de: Sondergericht Bromberg) and executed on 11th September 1939 in Bydgoszcz prison.
