Plaque in Lisburn Cathedral County Down Northern Ireland North Nave

To the Glory of God and in Memory of Colonel James GRAHAM. Born 1831 to William and Elizabeth Graham of Lisburn. Who died at Wimbledon, Surrey on April 26th 1905 aged 74. Late H.E.I.C. (Honourable East India Company), 15th Native Infantry Regiment and Bengal Staff Corps 1849 -1879. Served in the Indian Mutiny Campaign including the siege and capture of Lucknow 1857-1858

14 September1865 he married Louisa Maria Joy at Newcastle, County Wicklow, Ireland, residing at Lisburn. Occupation, Captain in H M Bengal Staff Corps. 1891 aged 60 residing at 16 Miles Road, Clifton, near Bristol Gloucestershire with his wife Louisa Maria and his children. Occupation retired Colonel H M Indian Army Born in Ireland. 1901, residing with his children at 2 Lansdowne Road, North Wimbledon, Surrey aged 70. Occupation Colonel on the Retired List and Bank Director. His wife was visiting family in Dublin Died 1905 at his home aged 75.

Wills and Admin, Ancestry. GRAHAM James of Colswood Wimbledon Surrey died 26 April 1905. Probate Dublin to Louisa Maria Graham widow Donald Charles Graham esquire and William Graham Smith retired colonel. Sealed London 27 September 1905. Effects £7510 9s 1d in England
