Description
English:

The map pictured here shows the route of the James Street cable car line from two perspectives: a "bird's eye view looking south" and a profile view. The drawing was produced by The Seattle Electric Company in May 1904, but the route began in 1891. The final cable car on this route ran in 1940, after which the city switched to buses that could handle the steep grades of Seattle.
