Nederlands: De Nederlandsche Bank, DNB, heeft de te hanteren rekenrente voor pensioenfondsen en verzekeraars voor het waarderen van de pensioenverplichtingen aangepast. Pensioenfondsen zullen hun verplichtingen niet waarderen volgens de actuele swapcurve, maar op basis van een hoger driemaands gemiddelde. Deze tijdelijke maatregel leidt tot een hogere dekkingsgraad bij pensioenfondsen en dus tot minder korten op de pensioenen. Jan-Huug Lobregt, bestuurslid Actuarieel Genootschap, vindt maatregelen ter beperking van de korting van de pensioenen misschien wel begrijpelijk, vooral vanuit het oogpunt van de onrust op de financiële markten, maar heeft bij deze vorm wel een aantal aantekeningen. Hoe lang is tijdelijk? DNB moet daar inzicht in geven. In een breder perspectief lijkt het noodzakelijk de pensioengerechtigde leeftijd eerder te verhogen om tot een structurele oplossing te komen.
