JANET GAYNOR, one of the screen's most famous ingenue stars, was born in Philadelphia, Pa., October 6, 1906, and graduated from a high school in San Francisco. From amateur theatricals, she moved straight into øictures, making her debut in "The Johnstown Flood." In 1926 she became a Wampas Baby Star and later scored tremendous successes in "7th Heaven" and the talkie version of "Sunny Side Up," with Charles Farrell. She is 5 feet tall, weighs 96 and has auburn hair and brown eyes. Married Lydell Peck in 1929.
