English: Officers with the Naha Police Station execute a water rescue of a U.S. Marine acting as a downed aviator during Off-Base Aircraft Mishap Exercise 2014 April 24 at the Naha Military Port. During the exercise, local and military police, fire fighters and emergency response personnel executed a series of planned events in response to the simulated crash of a military aircraft in an urban area of Okinawa. The water rescue displayed first responders’ capabilities when working in the waters off of Okinawa. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl. Natalie M. Rostran/Released) |
