Nederlands: Bruin lakkistje met bol deksel. Aan de achterkant twee zilveren scharnieren (5 x 2 cm). Op het ene een man, frontaal ten voeten uit, gekleed in een wijde broek, halfhoge laarzen met slappe rand, een korte schoudermantel, wambuis, brede halskraag en hoed met brede rand. Op het andere scharnier een vrouw, eveneens ten voeten uit maar hier iets naar links gewend. Ze draagt een lange jurk. De linkerhand rust op haar zijde. De rechterarm is naar links uitgestrekt. Het bovenstuk van de scharnieren bestaat uit een fantasieversiering in baldakijnvorm. Aan de voorkant een zilveren sleutelplaatje in cartouchevorm en een grendeltje. Daarboven eveneens een baldakijnvormige versiering (9 x 5 cm). Het lakwerkpatroon is samengesteld uit met parelmoer omkaderde rechthoeken met medaillons in het midden. Midden op het deksel een zilveren handvat (8,2 cm breed).
