Description
English: Wall map issued with 3 brass grommets near top edge. Shows radial distances from central Watertown. Also shows public school locations. "Designed to meet the requirements of the New York State Elementary Syllabus." Purchase; John Carbonell, Alexandria, Va. ; 15 Dec. 2010. Extensively hand col. to emphasize county, town (township), and incorporated village boundaries. Mounted on cloth backing and sectioned to 24 panels for folding. LC copy imperfect: Lightly use-worn, foxed in right-hand margin, Denoyer-Geppert adhesive sales label affixed in lower margin. Includes note and island inset. Available also through the Library of Congress Web site as a raster image.
