Description

English: The Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) on NASA’s Terra satellite captured this natural-color image of Annular Typhoon Jelawat, in the Philippine sea, with a 70 kilometer well defined eye on September 27, 2012. Not only Jelawat was showing annular characteristics, but it's large eye, with thick convection around it is one eyecatcher.
