Description
Deutsch: Das Geburtshaus des Ostafrika-Missionars Johannes Rebmann in der Kirchstraße 18 in Gerlingen. Das 400 Jahre alte Fachwerkhaus wurde 2004 aufgrund einer Bürgerinitiative restauriert. Im Haus wurde eine "Missionarsstube", eine Gedenkstätte für die Gerlinger Missionare, eingerichtet. Mehr informationen hier. Stadtrundweg Gerlingen Nr. 5.1.
English: The house where the missionary Johannes Rebmann was born, in Kirchstrasse 18 in Gerlingen in Southern Germany. The 400 years old timber-framed house was renovated 2004 because of the initiative of a citizens' action group. Today it has the Missionarsstube (Missionarie's room), a memorial room for Gerlingen's missionaries. More information here.
