John R. Lindauer, Aged 84, Succumbs. John R. Lindauer, 84, died today at 2 a.m. at the home of Miss Sarah Wilson, 409 Fine street, Danville, where he had resided seven years. He was born March 22, 1868, in Lewis Township, Northumberland county, a son of the late John J. and Mary Lindauer. He had resided at Turbotville RD 1 all of his life until the last seven years. He was a member of the Zion Lutheran church, Turbotville, and Washington Camp 881, P.O.S. of A. of Turbotville. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Alice Lindauer; two sons. Harry R. Lindauer, of Danville, and Walter Lindauer, of Bellefonte; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and two sisters, Mrs. David Frey, Turbotville RD; and Mrs. Jacob Shook, Bellefonte. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. from the Paul S. Grittner funeral home, Turbotville. His pastor, Rev. Russell A. Flower, will officiate. Burial will be in Turbotville cemetery, Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m.
