Description A U.S. Air Force 71st Air Rescue Squadron (71st ARS) Sikorsky HH-3E Jolly Green Giant helicopter (s/n 69-5812) flies near Pikes Peak, Colorado (USA), en route from Alaska to the Aircraft Maintenance and Regeneration Center at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Arizona (USA). The helicopters from the 71st ARS were retired in preparation for the squadron's deactivation on 1 June 1991. The 210th Rescue Squadron, Alaska Air National Guard, took over Alaskan rescue missions. The HH-3E 69-5812 was the last built for the USAF by Sikorsky.
