English: Alaska is blessed with a strong Filipino community — one of the largest, per capita, in the country. This week, at my invitation, the Filipino Ambassador to the U.S., Jose Manuel Romualdez, took part in a great town hall on the campus of

@UAAnchorage. @philippinesusa

The ambassador heard loud and clear a central request of the community: establishing a consulate in Alaska. He was receptive and I voiced my full support. Thank you to all who came out!
