Fotografie je nejspíše z let 1911 až 1914 (před první světovou válkou). Autorem této fotografie je neznámá osoba. Snímek nalezený v pozůstalosti po synech Josefa Churavého. Plukovník Josef Churavý (* 1894 – † 1942) (brigádní generál in memoriam). Příslušník československých legií v Rusku. Za protektorátu byl jednou z nejvýznamnějších postav II. odboje, kde působli jako čelný představitel ilegální vojenské odbojové organizace "Obrana národa". Spolupracovník zpravodajsko - sabotážní skupiny "Tři králové" (Balabán, Mašín, Morávek).

A member of the Czechoslovak legions in Russia. In time of the protectorate was one of the most important persons of anti-nazi resistance. He worked as the leading representative of the illegal military organization "Defence of the Nation". Coworker of the intelligence - sabotage group named "Three Kings" (Balabán, Mašín, Morávek).
