Description Built in 1912, the Jackson Tower, in Portland, Oregon, was named the Journal Building (for the Oregon Journal newspaper) until 1951. It is listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. This view from the southwest shows the 9th through 12th floors (and a portion of the 8th).
