Català: Negatiu sense enfocament suficient, amb molt de gra i parts sense informació.

L'Arxiu allibera avui aquesta imatge històrica del cònsol argentí, el Sr. Carranza, a Alginet. Fotografia feta per Ismael Latorre Mendoza el 19-03-1948, durant la celebració de les falles.

El cònsol representà el General Perón, nomenat Faller Major, i va estar acompanyat per seua dona, el cap local del Moviment, les autoritats, l'església, la comissió fallera, els i les falleres, i el poble en general.

L'Arxiu conserva 50 negatius amb data 19-03-1948. Una vintena fan referència a aquest fet prou desconegut: la comissió fallera d'Alginet per unanimitat nomenà el president Perón de la República Argentina, Faller Major d'Alginet.

Aquesta fotografia va estar exposada per primera vegada el 18-08-1968, a l'ajuntament d'Alginet, a la primera exposició d'Ismael Latorre.

  • També apareix aquesta fotografia a la portada del llibre de falles: Associació Cultural Falla Poble d'Alginet, març 2012, imprès per Artes Gràficas NAVARRO, S.L.
