English: Jubilee Tower ruin on Moel Famau The Jubilee Tower is seen here following an early snowfall at the end of October 2008. The building of the tower commenced around 1810 to commemorate the Golden Jubilee of King George III, but it was never completed and the Egyptian styled tower collapsed in a storm in 1862. The signpost indicates the two directions for the Offa's Dyke LDP - left towards Prestatyn and right towards Chepstow. |
