Description
Deutsch: Acker bei Riedöschingen (Blumberg), Hegaualb. Das Feld ist mit mittelmiozänem Flussgeröll, „Jüngerer Juranagelfluh“, übersät. In der so genannten „Tengener Rinne“ wurden Massen von aus dem Schwarzwald stammenden Flussgeröllen transportiert. Diese Rinne, die größte von drei gewaltigen „Rinnen“ (Urflüssen), „ist an der Straße Uttenhofen-Tengen 200 m breit und 70 m tief.“ A. Schreiner, 1965, S. 328. Dies ist der wichtigste geologische Beleg für Juranagelfluh-Ablagerung aus dem Norden (Schwarzwald, Albvorland und Schwäbische Alb) Die Schüttung erfolgte gleichzeitig mit der Oberen Süßwassermolasse (OSM). Die Schüttung der wohlgerundeten Gerölle war so gewaltig, dass die Rinnen aufgefüllt wurden und sie über eine ca. 30 km breite Fläche abgelagert wurde. Schreiner schreibt: Es „kann die Gesamtmächtigkeit der Juranagelfluh am Hohenstoffeln mit 350 bis 380 m angenommen werden“. English: Farmland of Riedöschingen, a village northeast of Blumberg West-Swabian Alb. The environment is covered by cobbles of Miocene “Jüngere Juranagelfluh”, which are a fluvial sediment. The cobbles came from the north (Black Forest, northern foreland and Swabian Alb), the sedimentation is associated with the alpine “Obere Süßwassermolasse” (Upper Freshwater Molasse). These deposits came in such tremendous quantities, they produced three giant “runnels” (the dominant being the “Tengen runnel”) and pored their waters and sediments up to 350 m high and across the surface of approx. 30 km. These miocene runnels pored their water into the “Graupensandrinne”, forming huge alluvial fans.
