Magyar: Az egyes kódexek pergamenoldalain látható eredeti lyukak elsősorban monostorokban készült kódexekben fordulnak elő: a szerzetesek valószínűleg nem engedhették meg maguknak, (vagy nem tartották fontosnak), hogy ne használják fel a hibás, a szárítás során megrongálódott lapokat. Ennek a XII. század végi kódexnek a másolója például gondosan körbeírta a lapon található lyukat. A kódex valószínűleg a winchcombe-i apátságban készült Gloucester megyében. |
