Description
English: old engraving of the prison in Hanover behind the central station
Deutsch: Das Königliche Gerichtsgefängnis Hannover, hinter dem Hauptbahnhof zwischen der Alten Celler Heerstraße und der Leonhardstraße errichtet. Es wurde während der Zeit des Nationalsozialismus auch Straf- und Gerichtsgefängnis Hannover genannt und 1963 abgerissen. Als Ersatz dient seitdem die Justizvollzugsanstalt Hannover an der Schulenburger Landstraße.
