English: The first Light Aircraft Multi-Purpose System (LAMPS) Kaman SH-2D Seasprite (BuNo 150167) in flight. It made its first flight in March 1971. 150167 was delivered to the U.S. Navy in 1963 as a Kaman UH-2B utility helicopter. It was loaned three times to the U.S. Marine Corps between 1964 and 1970. After serving as the SH-2D prototype, it was later modified to a SH-2F. It crashed in 1986 and was scrapped in 1991. |
