English:
Várkerület Town Hall main staircase. Staircase reliefs: 'Vintage Fun', 'Venus riding on dolphins', 'Putts playing with dogs' bas-reliefs from the demolished house at Szilágyi Dezső tér No. 4 (1st half of the 20th cent.??). Upstairs staircase 'The Bamberg Rider - St. Stephen' is a gift from the city of Bamberg in the year of the millennium (replica?) and a spongy stone dog at the foyer/waiting door of the mayor's office secretariat. Built to builder master Kimnach house in 1835. Remodelled to the Royal Hungarian State Printing House in 1876, Architect József Ámon. In 1890 partly (backside) remodelled into a iron framed industry hall. In 1993 the district council bought for Town Hall. Restored to 1876? form. At this time the building 'got' artworks for decoration (18th, 19th century paintings, sculptures). An 1990s new thing is the glass roof covered Neo-Classical courtyard, former printing maschine room, now aula for events (concerts). In 2022, this building was a participants of the Budapest100 event and opened (from basement to roof) for public. Part of the Budapest World Heritage protected architectural ensembles - 1 Kapisztrán Square = 34 Országház Street, Várnegyed neighborhood, District I of Budapest.

Az emeleti lépcsőfordulóban 'A bambergi lovas - Szent István' Bamberg város ajándéka a millenium évében (másolat?) és egy szivacsos kőkutya a polgármesteri iroda titkárság előtér/váró ajtánál - Budapest, Várkerület, Várnegyed városrész, Kapisztrán tér 1 = Anjou bástya 7 = Országház utca 34.
