English: Old whaling equipment, harpoons, crossbow, etc. Photo taken in the exhibitions of Karmsund folkemuseum, a museum in Haugesund focusing on the cultural history of the town of Haugesund and the northern part of Rogaland county in the 19th and 20th century.
Norsk bokmål: Eldre hvalfangstredskap, håndharpuner, hvalbue (kvalboge). Fra utstillingene i Karmsund folkemuseum i Haugesund, kulturhistorisk regionmuseum for Haugalandet. Bildet er tatt 10. juni 2020. Kvalbogen (hvalbua) er en stor armbrøst (sprettebuge, låsbue) som er merka med årstallet 1884 og har skaft av eik, bue av barlind, streng av hamp og gaffelforma spennehake av bjørk.
