Merknad: Geofysiker Karsten Storetvedt (f. 1935) avbildet som førsteamanuensis i 1969, muligens i forbindelse med hans doktordisputas. Storetvedt ble fra 1973 av professor i geomagnetisme ved Universitetet i Bergen. Han er kanskje særskilt kjent for å ha lansert Torsjonsteorien (Vridningsteorien) som motsats til Alfred Wegeners (1880 - 1930) ideer om landmassenes bevegelser; platetektonikk.
