Groundfloor local grade listed house Espersyt house/Espersit house. The eclectic-style Espersit House, built in 1898, is currently the literary exhibition space of the Makó József Attila Museum. Its street front has six windows, and the vertical lysenes adorned with the column head divide it into three sections. The window frames are simple, in contrast to the accentuated and richly decorated eyebrow sections. There is a tympanum above the beamed gate. The main building is L-shaped. It is joined by a glazed corridor with brick pillars from the courtyard. Three rooms were built on the street side; These functioned as law firm office, gentlemen's room and dining room. János Espersit (1879–1931) was a Hungarian journalist, poet, lawyer, a patron of literary life and the arts. For two decades, his home was one of the most important spiritual centers of the Southern Great Plain. Among contemporary documents and objects, visitors can get acquainted with the everyday life of Gyula Juhász, Attila József and Ferenc Móra in Makó. The exhibition presents the circle of friends with a Hungarian Revolution of 1848 approach supporting Attila József, the connection of Gyula Juhász and Ferenc Móra to Makó, and the poetic departure of Attila József. The corridor of the building houses the permanent exhibition of the Makó Art Colony. There is a local grade protected Attila József by Imre Varga (1971 bronze statue) - 6 Kazinczy Street, Makó, Csongrád-Csanád County, Hungary.

Az épület is helyi védelem alatt áll, azonosító: -11942 Az 1898-ban épült eklektikus stílusú Espersit-ház jelenleg a makói József Attila Múzeum irodalmi kiállítóhelye. Az épület a polgárosodás szellemében épült. Utcai frontja hatablakos, az oszlopfővel ékesített függőleges lizénák három szakaszra osztják. Az ablakkeretek egyszerűek, ellentétben a hangsúlyos és gazdagon díszített szemöldöktagozatokkal. A gerendás nagykaput timpanon koronázza. A főépület L alakú, egytraktusos; hozzá az udvar felől téglapilléres, beüvegezett folyosó csatlakozik. Az utcafrontra három szoba épült; ezek ügyvédi irodaként, úri szobaként és ebédlőként funkcionáltak. Dr. Espersit János (1879–1931) lakása két évtizeden át a Dél-Alföld egyik legjelentősebb szellemi központjának számított. A látogató korabeli dokumentumok és tárgyak között ismerkedhet meg a Juhász Gyula, József Attila és Móra Ferenc makói hétköznapjaival. A kiállítás bemutatja a József Attilát támogató, 48-as szabadságharc szemléletű baráti kört, Juhász Gyula és Móra Ferenc makói kötődését, valamint József Attila költői indulását. Az épület folyosója ad helyet a Makói Művésztelep állandó kiállításának. Kocsis Rajki László: Erdei Ferenc Imre alkotta Espersit emlékfal érzékelteti az akkori polgári értelmiség igazról, szépről való álmodozását, forradalmiságát és közéleti szerepkörét. A kapu melletti falon MakóLapis András Dunánál c. domborműve (Avatás 1991., Avatás Szeged, Hazafias Népfront-háza: 1979, bronz)[2] sugallja a költő ma is időszerű gondolatát: Rendezni végre közös dolgainak.
