Description
Svenska: Den heraldiska dekoren gör det troligt att uret tillkommit före 1583, då Beata Stenbock (Per Brahe d. ä:s hustru) dog. En urnyckel bevarad av ursprungligen två.
Graverade tavlor med gravyren fylld med svart lod. På bottens undersida brahevapnet under friherrekrona samt inskrift: Petrus comes a Visingzbarg et baro a Ridboholm. I yttre ring: "WAKER FORTENSKVL TY I WETEN ECKE HVAD STVND EDER HERRE WARDER KOMENDES LUCE 24".
På sidorna beslagsornamentik samt brahehjärtskölden, och i varsin sköld friherrevapnets fem liljor och ryttare. Mittemot hjärtskölden stenbocksvapnet.
Stämpel på urverket: PG (Paul Grimm, Nürnberg eller Peter Grundel, Stockholm)
På lapp inlagd i fodret: "Klockan har tillhört Riksrådet Grefve Nils Brahe född 1633 död 1699. Gift med Margaretha Juliana Wrangel. Kom genom giftermål och arf till Grefliga Lagerbergska slägten, således efter sista ägarinnans, en fröken Lagerbergs död på aktion".
Enligt katalogkort från 1930: tyskt arbete, 1600-talets början.
"Reparerat af John Lindgren 1786 in Mensis Julii".
“Reparerad Anno 1788 ... Maij af Carl Strömberg på Skogkloster”.
1910 fanns beskrivning till uret.
1845: p. 5 fanns ett etui till uret.
