Summary edit

Description
English: This plot shows that the momentum vector traces out a circle for a point particle moving under an inverse-square central force (the Kepler problem). Such a trace used to be called a "hodograph" in the 19th century. I made this Figure on 5 November 2006 using Xfig, borrowing the vectors from my related figure Image:Laplace_Runge_Lenz_vector.png to make them match. I hereby release this figure under the GFDL.
