Description Stele filed in honor of an Apis bull for Priest Piay. Limestone. Origin: Saqqara, Serapeum, isolated tomb for Apis II and III of the 19th dynasty. New Kingdom, 19th dynasty, reign of Ramses II (1279 to 1213 BC). Louvre Museum (N 411). Special iconography: in the hanger are represented Apis, the sacred bull of Memphis, and Mnevis, that of the city of Heliopolis; the text only describes the death and mummification process of Apis.
