Summary edit

Description
English: One of the small outer platforms built around the central Royal structures at Khami World Heritage Site near Bulawayo. Built from granite blocks and with out cement, i.e dry stone walling, it would have been the residence of one of the lesser elite at this capital of the Torwa or Butua State - a centralised political entity that arose in southwestern Zimbabwe after the decline of the Great Zimbabwe State. Probably built in the sixteenth century. The monolith is an entirely natural stone feature around which they have built.
