English: This non-original, red leather binding from Walters manuscript W.657 has a central medallion, pendants, and cornerpieces (with no flap). The binding has gold-painted arabesque decoration. It was re-bound and restored by a bookbinder of Tabriz, Khwand Mulla Mahdi Sahhaf-i Tabrizi (see note, signed and dated 1295 AH/AD 1878 on front flyleaf iia).
