English: Kilberry National School 1856. A stone on the front facade reads 'Kilberry National School / Erected 1856 / M. Kelsh P.P.'. Rev Matthew Kelsh was also responsible for building the nearby church in 1839 1281989. In the 1980s the building was restored under an employment scheme and it was used for meetings for a number of years but has fallen derelict again. |
