Português: Monte Kilimanjaro, vulcão inativo na Tanzânia, ontem. Com 5.895 m é a maior montanha da África. Nessa imagem está cercado por nuvens baixas, em branco. Em verde floresta, em marrom escuro: matagal xerófito alpino, em marrom claro: deserto alpino. Próximo à caldeira do vulcão, em branco, geleiras. Essas geleiras estão retrocedendo, Thompson et al. 2009 preveem estarão extintas em algumas décadas / Kilimanjaro, dormant volcano in Tanzania, yesterday. With 19,341 ft, it is Africa´s highest mountain. In this image it is surrounded by low clouds, in white. Montane forest appears in green, moorland in dark brown and alpine desert in light brown. Glaciars appear in white, around volcano caldera. These glaciars are retreating, Thompson et al. 2009 forecasted they will be completely gone in a few decades.
