Summary edit

Description
English: King John's House King John's House sits in a narrow site leading off Church street and the side elevation is best seen through the Post Office car park.

The house is the oldest building in Romsey, with a mediaeval hall believed to date from the middle of the thirteenth century. The Tudor cottage on the right was added in the late Tudor or early Jacobean period.

The only connection with King John is that it was at one time thought to be his hunting lodge. http://www.romseynet.org.uk/kjh.htm
