Description
English: This view of King Street West in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, estimated as being taken in 1907–08, is looking eastward down King toward the intersection with Ontario Street (which would have then been known as Foundry Street). Two Berlin and Waterloo Street Railway streetcars are visible passing each other at a double-tracked passing place near the intersection. To the left, on the north side of the street, the Canadian Block building is prominently visible. The A. G. Schreiter furniture store can be seen on the far right side of the image, which would also be the south side of King Street. A number of storefronts have awnings and pedestrians and horses and wagons are visible, with no automobiles visible in the shot.
