| Description |
English: Kirkcaldy Railway Station (Whyte Melville Road/Forth Avenue entrance) This is the opposite side of the railway station, leading out onto the north platform for trains going to Dundee, Perth, Aberdeen, Inverness and beyond. This is situated on Whyte Melville Road/Forth Avenue off Oriel Road roundabout, in Kirkcaldy town centre. This building dates from 1964, surviving a fire that destroyed the main entrance.
A car park, exists to the far left of the picture including a new extension with access just at Bennochy Bridge. The new extension is jam-packed with cars being left, for all of Kirkcaldy's commuters to go to work in Edinburgh. |
