Summary edit

Description
English: Crown molding. This is part of a kitchen renovation project. Since the walls were not perfectly straight in this 160-year old house, adding crown molding can be tough. So I built this corner piece first, using two sides, gluing them together, and then attached it with screws to the ceiling. The orange foam between the gray wall and the white ceiling is fire-resistant expanding material to keep fire and smoke from moving quickly from one room to another, or from one floor to another.
