Nederlands: Klaas Knot, president van De Nederlandsche Bank, heeft de tentoonstellingsreeks 'Het Verzet Kraakt' in het Stadsmuseum geopend. Tot en met augustus kunnen geïnteresseerden bij zes Twentse musea terecht voor de verhalen achter de grootste bankroof aller tijden.
Het gaat om het Stadsmuseum Almelo, Frielinkpark Harbrinkhoek, Memorymuseum Nijverdal, Historische museum Vriezenveen, Van Buurenstee Wierden en het Rijssens Museum. Bij de musea staan mensen uit de eigen plaats of gemeente centraal die een bijdrage hebben gepleegd aan de bankoverval op de Nederlandsche Bank in Almelo in november 1944. Toeristen en recreanten kunnen ook een boekje krijgen met een fietstocht langs de verschillende historische plekken en tentoonstellingen rondom de grootste bankroof. |
