Summary edit

Description
English: An example of faggoting. Faggoting is a variation of lace knitting, in which every row is a lace row, and there are no simple all-knit or all-purl rows. This example is the stitch pattern of the garment design "Blithe" by designer Marie Wallin, from Rowan Magazine number 47 (February, 2010). Note: Faggoting is a certain type of knitting stitch, not a motif. A knitting motif is not a stitch; it is a (usually repeated) picture or design perceived by the eye after the knitting is completed. There are knitting motifs in the blue knitted jacquard background, but not in the unfinished knitting in the foreground.
