Description

An der Stelle der eingestürzten Bischofskirche des 8. Jahrhunderts wurde von 1052 bis 1089 das Münster »Unserer Lieben Frau« im romanischen Stil errichtet. Im 14. bzw. 15. Jahrhundert wurde das Münster gotisch umgestaltet und bis 1683 wurden die Wölbungen des Mittelschiffs geschlossen. Im 18. und 19. Jahrhundert erhielt das Münster sein heutiges Aussehen. Das Äußere wird dominiert von dem weithin sichtbaren Westturm. -
