editDescriptionKorsbærerne.jpg |
English: The crossbearers, made by Otto Lessing (1846-1912), bought by Oslo municipality 1928. Can be found at Sagbanken Stuer, Stensgata/Kirkeveien in Oslo, Norway. The main character looks like neuroscientist and polar explorer Fridtjof Nansen. While the rest of the group carry the cross, the main character seems to be lifting it off their shoulders.
