Русский: Долина Кали Гандаки (Кали-Гандак), Непал, Гималаи. Самая глубокая (масштабная) долина (ущелье, каньон) мира в зависимости от того, как производить расчеты. Ущелье рассекает Большой Гималайский Хребет и разделяет вершины Дхаулагири (8160+ м) на западе и Аннапурну (8090+ м) на востоке. Между Дхаулагири и Нилгири Северная (7060+ м) по прямой порядка 22 км. При этом река Кали Гандаки течет по дну долины на высотах около 2500 м. Перепад высот склонов долины на узком участке шириной около 20 километров от селений Марфа до Калопани составляет от 4500 до 5600 м. Большей частью это видимый, наблюдаемый перепад. После прогулок в этом грандиозном каньоне, искать что-либо более внушительное остается только на других планетах и в других звездных системах. Легенды витают над долиной. Кто терялся в этих пространствах, никогда уже не станет другим. |
