Description
Deutsch: Denkmalgeschütztes Haus mit Scheune in Kähnsdorf am Großen Seddiner See. Das letzte in Kähnsdorf verbliebene rohrgedeckte Fachwerkhaus. Erbaut um 1700 als Privathaus, von 1825 bis 1930 als Volksschule genutzt. Ab 1995 rekonstruiert und saniert zur Schaffung eines kulturellen Gemeindezentrums. 2001 als Heimatstube und Kulturscheune Kähnsdorf eröffnet. Der Große Seddiner See ist ein Rinnenbeckensee im Naturpark Nuthe-Nieplitz des Brandenburger Landkreises Potsdam-Mittelmark und umfasst 2,18 km². Er gehört zu den Gemeinden Seddiner See und Michendorf.
English: Listed, last and thatched timber framed house in Kähnsdorf. Built around 1700 as private house, between 1825 and 1930 used as school, reconstructed since 1995 and 2001 opened as cultural village hall and local history museum. The Großer Seddiner See is a glacial lake in the nature park Nuthe-Nieplitz in Germany, Brandenburg, district Potsdam-Mittelmark, and covers 2,18 km². The lake is situated in the municipalities Seddiner See and Michendorf.
