Summary edit

Description
English: Two reliquaries in the shape of an arm, one with bone of one of the Ten Thousand Warriors, on of Maria Magdalena. Lime tree wood, painted. Braunschweig, end of 15th century. The warriors ("Zehntausend Krieger") probably were the ten thousand martyrs of Mount Ararat who were, according to a medieval legend, Roman soldiers who, led by Saint Acacius, converted to Christianity and were crucified on Mount Ararat in Armenia by order of the Roman emperor.
